Elevator Up is growing faster than we can keep up with. Our team needs someone to help tackle many of the ideas and roles currently filling each of our plates, from client work to our own product ideas.
Call of duty... We need someone who has the ability to take a vague description of a project and develop an overall plan for a project including the following:
Within information architecture you need to develop sitemaps and wireframes. You need to allow for easy user workflow and develop wireframes or page diagrams to determine the organization of information and outline how much real estate each piece of content and functionality should take throughout the site. Your main goal is to help end users make sense of what your trying to do and where to go next.
In the area of design you, it will be your job to develop the personality for the site. You'll more than likely be using PhotoShop, Illustrator, etc... This is required when taking the wireframes and designing the website to help the site come alive. You need to be able to get a grasp of the details that make up the big picture.
You must be able to hand-code using valid XHTML and CSS (compliant with the W3C web standard).
If you are interested in being part of our team please send your portfolio to kate@elevatorup.com and apply online.
Developing a site is only half the battle. The other half is finding a place
to put it.
